WEYLANDTSTUDIO has custom-designed a bespoke range of furniture to complement Robert Silke’s beautifully articulated and highly functional living spaces. 

Embracing the Miami South Beach Art Deco aesthetic meant adhering to elegant proportions and a restrained palette, while multifunctionality is essential to maximize volume. Think black accents, clever storage, and subtle nods to the graceful curves of the flamingo. 

FEATURE MIRROR 

The round corners of the large entrance mirror echo the building’s exterior while floating shelves complete an eye-catching composition — the perfect backdrop for selfies or last-minute glances before leaving the apartment. 

FOCAL NOOK DESK

The curved architectural recess has been furnished to double as a work desk, drinks nook or display area. Feature lighting adds visual intrigue while the ingenious design enables plenty of options in terms of functionality. 

UPHOLSTERED HEADBOARD & BED STORAGE

The headboard in black natural full-grain leather from Weylandts’ Tankwa range provides plenty of comfort while the base of the customised Haiku bed offers additional storage.

LOW FLOATING UNIT

Monochrome accents meet elegant proportions in this sleek entertainment and storage unit. A black oak veneer top is rounded off with curved detailing and circular finger–grip sliders.

CUSTOM OTTOMAN

The flamingo-coloured, pilled-shaped ottoman is another playful touch. Custom-made to open up for additional storage, the ottoman provides  optimal functionality while looking pretty in pink. 

ADDITIONAL FURNITURE

A selection of minimalist contemporary classics completes the picture with black steel, textured fabric and strong elegant lines.
